They were married 19 years and together have two daughters, Hadden Victoria Beamer, 17 and Brownlie Elizabeth Beamer, 15. It was through his career and "networking" in Northern Virginia that he met and married his beautiful wife Adrienne Evans Beamer.
He valued all his connections he made and always considered everyone he met, "a great friend"!
He achieved his goal of being named "Rookie of the Year" and was Top 25 in revenue production every year thereafter. In 2009, he returned to what he most loved, working on behalf of his dearest meeting planner friends with Conference Direct.

This job started a professional journey for Steve that included working on "both sides" of the meeting industry for The Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, Meristar Hotels and Resorts, Cvent, the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau, and back to the Hyland Group. In 1991, he went to work for The Hyland Group where he built relationships with hotels and associations all over the country and internationally. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and shortly after began what has often been called "the perfect career for Steve", a representative in the hotel and meetings industry. He attended Prince William County schools and was so proud to be a member of the first graduating class of Potomac Senior High School in 1983. Steve was born Februin Alexandria, VA to Dick and Libba Beamer. Stephen Monday Beamer, 56, of Birmingham, AL and formerly of Lake Ridge, VA passed away peacefully from advanced stage liver disease at home, Friday, October 15, 2021.
